Shopaholics in Bangkok~

It was rather a last min decision to go BKK. Plus the labour day holiday and cpf incentives we got, me hubby kakni abg hari haikal doesnt tink twice abt going. we bought the air tickets from airasia and booked the baiyoke boutique hotel as soon as we decided the date.. So now that im back~ woohoo~ with many many tops. Im gona share with u the shopping experience. Oh btw, i didnt manage to go to chatuchak, the wkend market. bec it was rather a 'bad' timing to leave bangkok on a saturday afternoon. i know;( Next time for sure! oh noo, did i jus mention Next Time?woohoo!

We reached there almost in the evening. abt 7 plus on wed. Plus the jam. OMG i can't stand the traffice jam! the vehicles were so everywere. i wonder if they even need the traffic lights. It seems helpless. Upon reaching the retro-metro hotel, we dropped our bags and head down for dinner. glad to find a halal restaurant nearby. its more like a north indian muslim, thai food restaurant. kakni ordered their tom yam seafood & its so TeranGkAt ok! noting beats their tom yam soup! oh guess wad, i found myself bargaining for a black bottom on the 1st night in bangkok at 11pm ard pratunam. And the rest will follow! hehe

On the morning of the 2nd day, we spend time shopping ard pratunam market. then in the afternoon we head down to platinum shopping mall for lunch. and continued shopping from there. shopping mall for girls i wud say. accessories... handbags.. shoes.. name it! and lastly we head down to sun luam night market. a nice one. with a mix of everything from souveniours to local products to food!

The 3rd day was spent at khaosan road. a place for backpackers they said. no wonder the place was a bit pricey but we manage to bargain our way there;) well i got my braids there too.. only five lines on the left side of my head. jus for fun;) hubby got 4 dreadlocks on the back of his head. mine cost me 5$. his 8$. after that we head down to centralworld & back to hotel to rest before we continues on to patpong. no we didnt get to see t*g*r show. we were a step late. haha. n then we were back to sunluam again to grab some souveniors. oh btw, the tuktuk! the ride was thrilling i tell u. syiok but so the scary mary. mcm racing cerita fast n furious. no safety gears on at all.. and the roads are not systematic at all. i nearly got thrown out of tuktuk for its sharp turn n no warning brakes! Lastly we head down to massage labor. its only then that i realised both of my feets were swollen. and its really painful. must be the too much walking!

Its so hard to wake up the next morning but i managed to drag my swollen feet for free breakfast and continues to shop @ pratunam market again to grab some last minute stuff;) We headed back to hotel at 1.30pm to packed our stuff before we checked out at 2pm.

It was really a heartful shopping;) A MusT come-back trip of cos! And when we got home, the much needed rest awaits~

Kob Khun Kaa Bangkok~
